Privacy Policy

We collect as little data as possible while explaining what must be processed to provide email receiving and forwarding services.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to the temporary email, permanent forwarding alias, passwordless login dashboard, and support services provided by msggone.com. This policy does not control how third-party websites handle information you submit to them.

2. Data We Process

Temporary Email

The service needs to process random addresses, access tokens, creation and expiration times, received email content, and delivery metadata. Temporary email is not used to build long-term account profiles, and temporary attachments are not retained.

Forwarding Accounts

When you use permanent forwarding, we process your login email address, the alias prefixes you create, activation status, forwarding results, sender reputation settings, and a 30-day email archive. If you enable two-step verification, we also process the key material required to complete verification.

Technical and Support Data

To prevent abuse and troubleshoot issues, servers may log request times, IP addresses, browser types, error statuses, and security events. When you contact support, we also process the information you voluntarily include in your email.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

  • Create inboxes, receive and display emails, and provide the services you request;
  • Forward alias emails to the address you specify and maintain the archive;
  • Verify account control, prevent abuse, and protect system security;
  • Respond to support requests and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or your consent as the legal basis for processing.

4. Data Retention

Temporary addresses are usually valid for 3 hours initially, with a maximum lifetime of 24 hours. Forwarded email archives are retained for 30 days. Security logs are kept only as long as needed for operations, security, and legal purposes; support communications are retained for as long as needed to resolve the request.

5. Sharing and International Transfers

We do not sell your email address. Infrastructure providers used for hosting, network transmission, security, and email delivery may process data only as needed to provide these services. We may also disclose necessary information when required by law, to protect users, or to maintain service security.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can let a temporary address expire naturally, pause or delete aliases in the dashboard, delete email records, or log out. Depending on the laws where you live, you may also request access to, correction, deletion, restriction, or export of your personal data, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Security and Children

We use measures such as access controls, tokens, and transmission protection, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not use temporary email to receive highly sensitive information. This service is not intended for young children as defined by applicable local law.

8. Policy Changes and Contact

Material changes will take effect when we update the effective date on this page. For privacy questions or rights requests, please send them to support@msggone.com, including the relevant email address or alias and the details of your request; do not send email verification codes or sensitive email content.
