Usage rules

Terms of Service

These terms define how you may use MsgGone and what temporary inboxes are not designed to guarantee.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using msggone.com, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Service Description

MsgGone provides short-term temporary inboxes without login, along with a permanent forwarding alias dashboard that requires email verification to sign in. Temporary addresses are typically valid for 3 hours initially, with a maximum lifetime of 24 hours; forwarded email records are typically stored for 30 days. These periods define product limits and do not constitute a promise of permanent storage.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the service to protect your real email address, separate subscription sources, receive legitimate registration emails, and manage accounts you are authorized to control. You must follow the sender website’s rules, intellectual property requirements, and the laws where you are located.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Sending spam, scams, threats, harassment, malware, or unlawful content;
  • Circumventing website bans, bulk-registration limits, identity verification, or law-enforcement measures;
  • Attempting to read other people’s email, guess tokens, attack interfaces, or disrupt the service;
  • Automated abuse, excessive requests, reselling the service, or impersonating MsgGone;
  • Receiving or distributing confidential or infringing material that you have no right to handle.

5. Accounts and Security

Permanent forwarding sign-in confirms control through an email verification code. You are responsible for protecting your email account, sessions, and two-step verification information. If you detect unauthorized activity, sign out, secure the destination email account, and contact support. Never send verification codes to anyone.

6. Email and Attachment Limits

Temporary inboxes do not retain attachments, and messages larger than 100 MB in total will be rejected. For permanent forwarding, messages up to 50 MB may be forwarded and retained; messages over 50 MB and up to 100 MB are forwarded but not retained; messages over 100 MB are rejected. Sender policies, internet queues, spam filtering, or third-party failures may affect delivery times.

7. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or terminate features for maintenance, security, capacity, or legal reasons. If you violate these terms, endanger other users, or create system risks, we may restrict addresses, aliases, sessions, or access. Before deleting an alias, change the address linked to it on the relevant websites.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every email will arrive, that any third party will accept a temporary domain, that emails can always be recovered, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Temporary email must not be used as the sole recovery method for financial, medical, employment, identity, or critical accounts.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MsgGone is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including undelivered email, data loss, unrecoverable accounts, or business interruption. Liability that cannot legally be excluded is unaffected by this section.

10. Updates and Contact

We may update these terms and will post the new effective date on this page. Continued use means you accept the updates. For questions about these terms, abuse reports, or infringement notices, email support@msggone.com with verifiable facts, but do not send passwords or verification codes.
